UK-based journalists Private Room tell stories about beautiful bathrooms, inspiring others to create theirs. We worked alongside Private Room to define their identity, language and digital brand strategy - the stage to draw attention to and champion the world’s most unique bathrooms.
Their new brand is an authoritative voice, inspiring and appealing to large audiences but with character. A refreshed tone of voice invites consumers to read, contribute to (‘In the Bathroom with…) and in the future purchase items from their website.
The versatility of the identity system allows the new brand to adapt to shifting market conditions and changing customer habits, ensuring that they always remain current and relevant to their customers.
This is a start-up that takes an innovative and refreshing look at how a company connects with their audience and how they generate sales / revenue in an ever-changing world. It therefore required an agency and design approach that embraced this philosophy with equal braveness, personifying the core values of the brand with a bold and distinct design language.
Bringing the worlds of print and digital together by celebrating the design principles fundamental to both, the new branding boldly centres on basics of imagery, colour and typography to create an uncomplicated and confident identity. This approach delivers an understated, self-assured brand character that is distinct and ownable, ensuring stand out in a sector not always synonymous with creativity and individuality.
